IT'S THE TIME TO GET OVER A BREAKUP !
"A lifetime without Love is of no account. Love is the Water of Life. Drink it down with heart and soul!"
- Rumi
One of the best emotions you can experience is - LOVE. It necessarily doesn't have to be for your partner only, it can be for you parents, friends, teacher, niece and any other person. It just has to be from your heart. Lucky are those who can have someone by their side in the time of need and deed. Sadly, not everyone is fortunate to have gained love in return. A person in love seems to have the utmost courage to do everything. It makes one fearless and confident to pursue and achieve everything in this world. It makes you feel like you can conquer the world for you and your loved ones. This side describes the requited love.
What about those with heart breaks? Let me tell you that I have had two heart breaks by now. First one was in 2014 and other one, in 2020. Yes!!! I've recently had a heart break. Thus, I can totally relate with the one with unrequited love stories. Ummmm......the story is awfully sad to share so I'm going to skip it. But through this article, I want people to stop thinking about the past and outshine your future. It was 3 months back when I felt like the most depressed , unhappy and unwanted person. It had changed my world all of a sudden. Nothing seemed bright and I just wanted to be alone. Dramatic much? But this is what a heart break actually feels like. Situations might vary from people to people but feelings are the same. Do not think that this is a waste of time. You're only confronting a new emotion , a new phase. And this is where you have to take the advantage of your time. It's enough of crying over the person who doesn't even care if you exist. It's enough of thinking about someone. It's the time to introspect and find what you actually love and for yourself. I recently watched a TEDxTalks video by Onkar Kishan Khullar on "Power of Breakup" (because I want to stop myself from thinking about the past. I want to explore my strength and be limitless) He has beautifully explained about what a person in this phase should do. I strongly recommend that video and perhaps would add some of my points to help you out.
It feels sad when you've invested so much in a person and he/she abruptly leaves. You start regretting your decision and find defect in you only. There is nothing to be blamed on you. If that person has left, the fault is in their stars. Loving someone is not your fault, disrespecting that love is their defect.
Just focus on yourself. Chin up, groom yourself and get the best in your way. If not that person, trust me! you deserve someone far better. Don't give importance to that person by thinking about them, indulge yourself in some activities and do whatever you've always wanted to. Learn new things, experiment with your old works. Watch videos, movies which you really like . Listen to calm happy songs. Clean your room, closet, house, pet's house etc. Talk to your friends. Enjoy with them.
There are many things in this world to be sad about but only few to be blessed about. It's the time that you tell yourself that you're precious and worth beautiful things and people. It might be hard to get over a heart break or breakup but not impossible!
